but it can’t be used to testing the negative oxygen ions from natural environment and leather, cloth, powder etc.Using methods :

1. Turn the switch to “ON” position.
2. Keep your thumb in contact with the front square metal plates, then make the rear square metal towards the air anion generator.
The closer to the air anion generator in test, the higher reading of the tester shows.

3. If it shows without symbols in reading, it means Positive ions.
or show ” – “, it means Negative ions.
4. Don’t touch the rear square metal of the tester in measuring, otherwise it would be inaccurate readings.
5. Before mesuring, keep the switch in ” off ” position.

This tester is a kind of high impedance tester, pay attention to avoid being affected by the damp when use and storage, or it may cause wrong reading and works unstable when testing, at tis time, you can use hair dryer to dy it or put in in the sun for several hours.
